How can we use Handwriting Calculator with “My Script Calculator”

MyScript Calculator is a tool that performs mathematical operations naturally using your handwriting.Easy, simple and intuitive,we just write the mathematical expression on the screen then let MyScript perform its magic converting symbols, numbers and mathematical expression to digital text and show the result in real time just like as you see on real Calculator’s. MyScript Calculator provides the same experience as writing on paper. The application is completely free, and there are no hidden costs. We might develop a power or pro version later that will probably carry a price tag.MyScript Calculator does not support operations with multi-variables however it can be used to solve an equation with one variable.

Use the ‘?’ sign as the variable you’re searching for in your mathematical expression. i.e. 4 x ? = 20. You just write the mathematical expression on the screen same as writing on paper, you don’t need to learn a special way to write numbers or mathematical symbols, just write naturally.

What does it do?

Though a minor annoyance, using a calculator for anything more than basic arithmetic almost invariably ends in a frustrated hunt for those rarely used symbols. MyScript lets you drop the witch hunt and jot down entire equations with your finger in a way that’s undoubtedly quicker and feels far more natural. Handwriting recognition apps don’t necessarily have the best track record, but even with demonstrably terrible handwriting, this one was able to pick up every stroke without a problem.

  • You just tape the 3 horizontal lines and open a new menu in which you may  some changes.

Why do we like it?

While this certainly isn’t just for students, it’s nice to know that the app supports a wide enough range of functions to be useful for virtually any grade level. MyScript is just as effective at handling basic arithmetic as it with percentages, roots, negative numbers, and exponents. You can even effortlessly work trigonometry, logarithms, and constants, should the mood strike. The app does have its limits: no graphing function. But for the casual mathematician, this is more than enough to get by.

What it teaches and how it works

My script calculator is an engaging calculator for students to use when performing arithmetic, algebraic operations, and solving equations. Students write the problems using their finger or stylus, the app automatically converts the writing into text and solves the problem. The user might write out 15X6. The app will convert the writing to a font and then write 15X6=90. The app is also advanced in that it can solve for variables. For example, if a student writes out 5x =10, the app will convert the handwriting to text and instead of writing the x, actually solve for x and place a •2 in the place of x, showing that x=2.
Students love watching their writing convert to text and watching problems being solved so quickly. This app definitely has the cool factor!

Operating systems supported?

Currently it supported “iOS and “Android’s different versions:
Android OS: from 2.1 to 4.1 and above.
iOS 6: iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone5.

You may Download it on both’s” App store and “Google Play store’s.”
